Hi.what you have is a copy. These notes were never issued to the general public. They were used only for bank transactions. All these notes are redeemed and none are outstanding.Even if you had a real one having one it is illegal.

Only of these were ever printed, they were for fed use only an were NEVER issued. So you do not have an original and your copy if you have one is probably only usefull as toilet paper. LOL

I also have a 1934 $100,000 Gold Certificate. This was part of a cache of valuables buried by the Japanese in WWII in the Philippines, and was found by my father-in-law along with gold bars, etc. I am also wondering, what is it worth, if anything?

As far as I understand it, the 1934 Series Gold Certificates were for interbank and/or intergovernmental transactions.  There is no such thing as a new one to exchange for.  If some have gotten into private hands (which has occurred in some cases), they need to be redeemed at the Treasury.  These bills show on the books of the Fed as an asset and on the books of the Treasury as a liability, which is why Treasury has to redeem them.
