I am thinking about buying the Sony AN102 active antenna and Sony SW100E radio. My question is: can I plug the AN102 into the antenna socket on the SW100E? Any help would be REALLY appreciated. Thanks.

No. The Sony AN102 must be plug to the radio's own externa antenna.
