if i cast 2 brain freeze, does it stack?
Meaning removing 6 cards or 9 cards?

It is only legal to count a spell that has been "PLAYED" that turn. Some cards can "put a spell" on the stack, but this is not the same as playing it. Cards like Isochron Scepter say you PLAY the spell, so a copy like that will count. Cards like Chain of Vapor will "put" a copy of a spell on the stack, and so will NOT. The storm ability itself will PUT X copys of the spell on the stack.

You mill 3 cards with the 1st and 6 with the 2nd, assuming no other spells have been played that turn.
