My dog ate four pieces of choclate, that I did not give him. Will he be ok, or should I call my vet, which today is Sunday and she is not in. Thank you,  worried dog mom lover

That's horrible, You should'veknown to bring him immediately to the vet (there are many 24 hour emergency clinics).  He needs to be given morphine and/or other things to make him vomit.  Otherwise he may have long term physical complications and/or die very easily

It depends on the dog and how much chocolate, He will prob. be fine if it a medium or large dog. And it also depends on the brand of chocolate.

Give THE DOG 3 TABLESPOONS HYDROGEN PEROXIDE TO INDUCE VOMITING.IF THE DOG DOES NOT THROW UP TAKE TO THE VET. MORE THAN LIKELY THE ANIMAL WILL VOMIT ON HIS OWN.
