no one know, but I think that Nostradamus was teaching his son how to predict.

i have read his letter: and was disturbed to discover and empathize to some recent activities occured parallel to somebody that
doesnt know...

    it was able to relate... and identify.

I read somewhere that he wanted so badly to be a predictor that he tried to set a city on fire in order to fulfill his prophecy. The sad part for him was that he was the only one to die in that fire!
