my son has downloaded something from JPEG and it will not...

my son has downloaded something from JPEG and it will not allow me to delete it he is banned from this type of websites but i think someone else downloaded it and it got transferred into his file  PLEASE HELP ME TO DELETE THIS

I had the same problem. but i used limewire to download this image, if in this case it was limewire you used you simply go into the library and delete it from there

I had the same problem. I had to remove all of the other files that was in the same folder to a different folder. Then I deleted the folder that the jpeg file was in and got rid of it entirely. That is the only way I found to get rid of the file.

It seems this is something to do with an invalid file name. I had this problem myself and a search revealed a program called delinv. It certainly worked for me. Just point it to the jpeg via the usual method, ie c:\documents and settings\etc and click delete. find the program here http://www.purgeie.com/delinv/index.htm . Good luck
