They are both good, but I think the female is better because they are more focused on the work than the male.

For duck hunting, is a male labe or female lab best?  Also do Labs get cold and shouldn't they come into the house some?  My son has a 5 month old puppy and he is being trained by a tranier that is coming to our house and the tranier states the dog needs to stay in his kennel and not come in Do Not Baby the dog.  Is this true becuase now my son doesn't want the dog to come in at all and I don't agree.  I have a 2 year old that is mine and she stays in all the time when I'm home and sleeps in also.  Please advise?
