I have alway'slove being left handed my parent's both had left handed parent's and thought that my younger sister and I were blessed. My parent's never hindered our left handedness and actually were very encouraging of our natural abilities. Hell me and my sister even spoke a different language when we were little it was awesome I still speak it with her till this day. It is a very quick talk finishing each other's sentences and backward'sand I can explain it to other left handed people but righty'sdon't get it. It's simplistic but righties think it's sinister.I'd like to thank righties for making me amberdextrious though without being forced to you think right handed in school I would have never learned this trait. Anyway'senough babbling for now have fun being left handed. Once you discover your natural talent's you'll really enjoy being left handed.

It is nonsense that left handed people are more artistic than right handed people. I am left handed, and my art is not good. Although I enjoy paint-by-numbers as a hobby, otherwise I am not artistic. In fact, I am more mathematical and scientific (although I do seem more open to possibilities than most scientific people such as the possibility of warp speed - perhaps this has something to do with being left handed (or just wishful), but it's probably just because I've read about the history of science). Many science people are so arrogant and sure of themselves/their theories/current theories - they usually get proven wrong. Another thing, lefties are not smarter than righties either. Although I'm reasonably smart, many of my left handed relatives aren't (sorry guys). Plus, most of my professors are righty (they have PhD'sin physics; I'll be lucky if I can manage to do well enough in my undergrad work to get into a Master's program - i.e. lower level than a PhD). Basically, lefties just want to feel special, and we are, but we aren't superior (except maybe at sports).

That's what people say - something to do with left handed people use more of their left side of the brain which is the creative side - most of the artistic people I know are artistic! I'm right handed and my art is BAD!

Well... I'm left handed and people tell me that I can draw. Yet, all of my pieces that I do draw tend to look like dreamland characters instead of the real thing.

I'm Right-handed and I can't draw worth a hoot. But my son is left-handed and he can draw cartoon characters from TV and they look just like the the characters. He drew The South Park characters and they look awesome.

Im a left handed......and yeah We left handed ppl are somewhat artistic...plus we tend 2 think differently...and we rock! most famous ppl are left handed...lefties unit!!!!

i'mleft handed but i play bass guitar righty.couldn't find a lefty bass when i was fifteen.i have been rockin' for twenty-eight years and will never jam left=handed.seems too weird.

I'm a righty, but I'm trying to draw lefty-it's hard as heck-cause I figured that if the left hand was controlled the right half of the brain, which is your creative side,...then I'd can draw better lefty...right?-lol Anyway, I wonder if lefties have a good "sketch day" more often than righties do, cause I'm off and on, but I draw hecka good-especially on the computer.

As stated above right brained people have a tendency to be more artistic and left handed people are typically left brained the brain works backwards from the hands. Left brained people tend to be more scientific and math oriendented. I am amadextrix and tend to be very math oriented and the job I do is design engineer in which i frequently joke is a left brained art.(some truth to that though) And even if you are right brained that doesn't mean that your going to atomatically be able to draw. You maybe good with mucic writing. Maybe even coming up with a very unussual ideas. There are many forms of art out there.

I was recently in the company of a large group of actors and I have never seen so many left handed people in the same place before! It must be true what they say about left handed people being more artistic and creative than right handed people

I believe left handed people are more creative and artistic. While taking a recent art class I noticed all of the other students were left handed. This ocurred in two separate classes in the past two years. I am a lefty and spent my entire life thinking I was right handed. They must have changed my preference for hands when I write to my right hand back in first grade. I use my left hand for everything but writing. I am creative and always thought that was strange for a right handed person....
