When doing selects using bcp format (-m bcp)
with SQSH is there a way to suppress the
output of the final column separator ?
If you select 3 columns in BCP format,
sqsh terminates each of the columns with
the column separator. I only want separators
BETWEEN columns (for BCP), I don't want an
extra one at the end of the line.

You can set the row separator character to be blank like this:

sqsh -L bcp_rowsep=""
