I'm 15, and I do agree with Christina, I've wanted a tattoo every since I was 14 years old. But I'm trying to see how much they cost, I heard they can cost up to about $73. I just want my name on the lower part of my back.

Hi, Christina. I'm 16 and I want a tattoo too. When you're 16/17 you can get with your parents' consent. Hang on in there, it's only another year. I'm just worried about the costs but I'm pretty sussed about what I want to get done. Good luck with getting a tattoo, I hope you like it and excuse the way I speak. I'm British so I'm a bit 'goofy'. See ya!

Your body hasn't finished developing yet...Not the chemicals and hormones in the blood..or the elasticity of your skin... Unless your one of the unfortunate ones I've know who've experienced way too much way too young (myself perhaps included) trust me, you haven't had enough experiences to even know what you want.  Have any of you considered sterilization, placement, social repercussions, or that ninety percent of people with tattoo guns are talentless buffoon?  I work in a shop...trust me give it a few more years.

Well this is an old thread I bumped into while researching and planning my tattoo. I just have to add that if you are 15, or 14, or any-teen, do not get a tattoo. You WILL regret it. Also chances are it will be poorly done, because no decent artist would tattoo someone under 18.
