first you should not breed your beagle or any other dog for money or any other reason except to better the breed.if you are bettering the breed then the beagle should be 2 years or older. even though they go into heat by the time they are 6 months old. so you should do a lot of research if you decide to breed your dog. they have about  5-8 puppies sometimes more or less. but like i said do your research before you breed. then there is the cost of getting her checked and the shots for the puppies and all the food and a lot more. so if you are doing it for the money don't because you don't make anything if you do it right. best of luck Jessica.

my dog's an eskimo and we think she's pregnant. she's 5 years old. is that a possibility?

She should be either on her second heat, or when she's 2 years old. I some what agree with Jessica. You'll probably end up getting less money than you spent, but that's ok. Daisy's having puppies in June, 2005.

hey i have that same question !!but my dog is a chiwawa mix ???so how old does my dog need to be to have puppies???
