Are you planning on keeping the vehicle longer than 3yrs or are you trading after 2. If your keeping the vehicle longer than 3, contact Crutchfield Electronics, Best Buy, Circuit City  or any automotive stereo shop and trade up to a better unit. Whether people like to hear it or not, and the dealers and manufacturers don't want you to, what you paid for in your car(aside from the speakers) is junk. These units are more mass produced and overpriced than you think. To top this off, replacement parts are almost non-existant. Here's an example....My father purchased a new Lincoln in 1978. The dealer and Lincoln wanted $785.00 for an AM/FM stereo. No cassette deck and CD'swere still in development. For just a hair over $350.00, I installed a Sony FT1154 AM/FM Cassette deck with Jensen Co-Axials up front in the dash and doors, and a set of Jensen 6x9 Tri-Axials in in the rear shelf. 30 watts more power, better base response and he saved the rest for his music collection. I've purchased the majority of my Chrysler products without the stereo systems and installed my own. If there is one part of any automotive product that is over priced and over-rated, it's the stereo system.
