About 10 years ago, a blond, attractive stand up comic posed nude for the mag. Almost immediately, she dropped out of sight. What was her name and what is she doing now?

I think you may be referring to the beautiful Rhonda Shear. She hosted a movies show on the USA network called "Up All Night" for a couple of years. Sorry, I have no idea what she's up to these days.
