avg of 60 days.  you need to check her temperature (rectally).  if it drops below 100, assuming it was over 100 to begin with, she will likely start labor w/i 24hours.

The average is not sixty days it is 63 days or more. She may deliever a day or 2 early, but to early is bad. And yes if her temp is below 100.00 she will have puppies within 24 hours if it is below 99.0 then she will have puppies within 12 hours.

my dogs puppies are starting to kick and move around a little bit. Is this a sign that they will be born soon ?

yes you are right but my vet added its 63 days +/- 5days just to give someone curious a exacting answer

it will be around 60 to 65 days after your 1st sign of pregnancy!if the dogs temperature is bellow 100.0, it will be within 24 hours and any temperature lower than 99.0 it will be 12 hours or less

i think it would take up to 60 to 70 days.
you should check her temperature if it 100.00 then she should have her within 24 to 48 hours

I think it would take about 68 days because all of our other dogs had puppies and it took 68 days so therefore the average dog gets it's puppies in 68 days.And all of the above is also true about the temperature.I happen to study lots of animals and dogs are my favorite,next to the cheetah.

It takes 60 days for a puppie to be born but if the mom and dad dont have the right sex then it wont work!!
