I had a chocalate lab that was about 2 years old.  One day, me and my wife was in the backyard giving her a bath and she ran off after another dog.  When we finally caught up with her, she had grabbed another dog by the scruff of the neck and continued to rip and thrash the smaller dog about.  Make a long story short, the smaller dog had to have about 65 stiches due to my lab attacking her.  What would make labs attack other dogs, and if they attack other dogs, could they attack humans or small children?  The lab was imbred and when I researched her AKC registration I found out that she was not inbread.  What would cause this?

The dog was protecting its territory!
2nd if you called it back and it did
not come then there is a training
problem or trust, between you and your dog!
I have 2 labs and they are very loyal,
loving, and protective, but they need to know who is in charge of the pecking order and it's not them!
Good luck, Jk from Illinois

THE DOG NEEDED TO FEEL DOMINATE, DON'T LET YOUR PET EVER THINK THAT IS A GOOD THING
