At what age can you start to breed your yorkshire terrier???

It is best to wait until at least the second heat before you have your female yorkie bred.  The second heat usually occurs around 1 year of age.  Males need to be at least 10 months old before standing at stud.

It is best to wait until at least the second heat before you have your female yorkie bred.  The second heat usually occurs around 1 year of age.  If the female is under 4 pounds, then I would not consider having her bred at all.  Males need to be at least 10 months old before standing at stud.

the natural age to start to breed is the age of 2 years old.any thing younger is way to young.

the vet that I got my yorkie from said to wait until they are at least 17 months old

aleast 2nd heat, best in spring or summer
