Does anyone have authentic pictures of ACDC members particularly Bon's signatures they could email to me. I'm on a mission to prevent fans from being ripped off by the flood of fakes lately on ebay and the like. I need these to compare and familiarize myself to the real deal. Please include as much info. as you want. It's for a good cause I know Bon would agree. Thanks,  marji   taylormadeaunt@sbcglobal.net

Hi there - great question. I'm yet to source a legitimate example of Bon's autograph for my own collection, but haven't given up hope just yet!. As far as ebay goes - my advice is NOT to buy anything from ebay unless you consider yourself an "expert" - and always consider the following points: 1. consider the item being sold, when was it produced? if its an LP pressed in 1984 it can't possibly be signed by Bon who died in 1980. 2. is it signed in metallic sharpie? if so, these weren't available prior to 1980. black sharpies were invented in 1964. 3. if its a private auction, or the seller has private feedback, forget it, fullstop - they're hiding something. 4. research, research and more research - there are legitimate examples on the Internet so become familiar with the autographs. Artists' signatures change over the years - a 1985 signature does not look like a 2001 signature. 5. disregard COA's- they're worthless. 6. forget picture proof unless the item being sold is 100% the item in the picture. If in a picture an artist is signing a drumhead and the seller is selling an LP cover, then you still don't have proof do you? 7. use common sense - if you are unsure, don't buy it. Spend more time researching. The above applies to all autographs. Good luck, and i hope i save someone the disappointment of finding out their signature is bogus.
