You would have to dual register the AKC dog to AKC. AKC will not accept any dogs but AKC dogs. ACA will accept other registries. You can get the form for duel registering from acacanines.com. Once they are both registered in the same registry you can register the litter. hope this helps.

I have an ACA female Bicho Frise which had puppies in August from an AKC male Bichon Frise.  How can I register the puppies?  I sold one female puppy and the new owner would like it to be registerrd although ai informed her ast the time of sale that thr puppies did not have AKC papers because my female was ACA registered, not AKC.  I could not get the owner of the male stod to provide me with a copy of his AKC papers after calling this breeder several times.
Please help me with getting a registration for tje new owner of the female puppy.  There were no other requests for papers by the other buyers of my litter.
