what is the monsters attack is it the 8/8 thing or the 2 and the three symbolsbehind it???

In the upper right hand corner is the casting cost, that shows you how many colored and/or colorless mana you need to cast that spell. In the center left is the cards type. In the lower right is the cards Power and Toughness (P/T) (The text box is the thing in the large square at the bottom, the art is in the large box on top :P )
