I am a J1 visa holder. HRR applies to me. can i go back to india and again apply for J1 visa. some on kindly answer

Section 212(e) of the INA only bars you from getting one of these: green card, L-1 or H-1 visas. This means that you can alway apply to ANY visa, besides H1 or L1. Then, in general, you can go back and get a new J-1, as long as you have an educational sponsor in the US (i.e., not a company). Of course, it is not possible to extend you academic training, unless you start a new course of studies and apply for training after finishing those.
