You can use your air conditioner less often, don't use CFC containing spray cans and tell others to do this too!

You can prevent ozone depletion in many ways. First of all, you should know that the thing that causes ozone depletion is CFC. CFC is a chemical compound that is harmful to the ozone layer. Many things, such as refrigerators and air conditioners, use CFCs. When CFCs are used, they are released into the air. The CFCs then float up to the ozone layer, where they start making holes.

In other words, in order to prevent ozone depletion, buy air conditioners and refrigerators that have a label that says "OZONE FRIENDLY" or "CFC FREE", because then you will not be contributing to ozone depletion. Other products with fumes, such as paint and pesticides, should also be checked for this kind of label. Please help stop ozone depletion today--there is already a hole the size of the USA above Canada and above Antarctica.

Good luck!

Well I have one. Instead of using those factorys that use coal and oil, or exhaust fumes from cars, which break up ozone, why not use steam engines? Instead of using coal or oil, steam engines use water which boils and converts to hot steam! And that doesn't brak up ozone! Infact, back in the past, CARS used to run on steam engines and can go onto 60MPH like today! Or how about suing battery powered cars? Sure they may not last like real cars, but has anyone ever heard of EXCERSIZE??? Not to mention, THAT DOESN'T BREAK UP OZONE!!!
