I am interested in starting a Rescue Service/Kennel in my hometown and am looking for someone to talk to about how I would proceed in this process.

If you are in America, contact your local 'humane society' and they can set you on the right track (In the UK, contact the RSPCA - or the Scottish SPCA for Scotland).  Also contact local animal support charities, and breeders.

how do you get an EIN number?..or anything you need to get a rescue started? legally ...
