What can you do about Chihuahua's who seem to have allergies...

Hi! Well our little 6 month old chi just developed a bad allergy. We've taken her to our vet twice and to an eye specialist b/c her eyes were so red and swollen. We've gone through a round of antibiotics, eye drops, topical cream and now steroids. the swelling has gone down but not completely. She's been on the steroids for 8 days now, we're praying they'll help. She's only on them for a month and we have a Dr.'s visit in two weeks. it had started to spread to her lips and tummy but hasn't gotten worse since starting the medicine. We can't figure out if it's grass, pollen, dust, laundry detergent or who knows what else that's causing it. Has this happened to anyone else? And what did you do to cure/treat it?

What can you do about Chihuahua's who seem to have allergies besides administering Childrens' Benadryl. They constantly have runny eyes and sneeze. We have moved to a different house thinking a change in environment would help, but it has not. We have changed their food and this has not helped. Please help

Try feeding the little dear Avoderm food. It really helps!

We have a deerhead chihuahua, approx 4 yrs old. We have had him for one year. My question is that his belly has no hair. It was a white belly all winter, now it is a brown belly. Is this normal? He weighs 5lbs and seems otherwise healthy & has regular vet checks. Please advise

My Daughter's dog seems to have an allergy to grass. She always chews her feet so we wash her feet every time she goes out.
