The Australian Government feared that communism would breach the shores of Australia, transferreed here by the asian countries-known as the yellow Peril. they also believed in the domino theory that if one country falls to communism then the neighbouring surrounding countrys would also fall to communism, thus the Australian government introduced conscription[ to force young men to enter the war against communism to protect Australia
