I have an very old sargent & greenleaf safe that I purchased recently for a good price.  Unfortunately, the safe was locked and no one knew the combination.  Where / how can I find a locksmith in New York City (Manhattan) that would be able to open it?

Please email me at awzajac@yahoo.com.

Thanks
Adrian

Sargent & Greenleaf do not produce safes, but they do produce the locks.  You can contact Sargent & Greenleaf on their web-site @ www.sargentandgreenleaf.com

Good Luck

I have aquired a safe from a decesded friendl. It has a S&G lock. The problem is that the combination is L4Rto79,3R to63 L2R to78. Here is the confusing part, it then says right and pull up and the safe will open. Well it dosen't. What am I doing wrong?
