i am not for sure either i was wondering the same thing my little girl is about 4 weeks we believe and she has gained about 8 oz so if you find out i would appreciate it if you would forward it to me amandakennedy001@wmconnect.com thanks Amanda

I think it depends on the number of puppies she is having.

I agree with Rachel. It depends on how many puppies she's carrying. You should bring your dog to a vet to have an ultrasound. If the vet knows how many puppies she has, then they'll know how much she should weigh.

If you have to ask this question you are a BACK YARD BREEDER!!! Ur only purpose is to get money off the poorly bred dogs. Is your Chi a champion? Has she passed OFA & CERF tests? What is your reason for breeding? You shouln't even have a dog let alone be breeding you PET!!
