No, that is a very bad idea. Your female will die giving birth, as she is over a year old! She'll suffer from distocia, and your male probably won't work anymore anyway.

Bad Idea! You should breed the female before the female is 8 months. Or else the babies will get stuck inside.

I have a 4 month old sow and I would like to breed it with a friends boar when they get one. Is it ok to breed her because by the time she gives birth she will be about 7 months old. Is it the FIRST litter she has, has to be before she is 7 months and AFTER that litter she can have more? Or can she basically only have 1 litter? Please help me!
Thank you!

Your guinea pig can't be breeding if they are over 6 months old it takes ten weeks so it is best to breed at least at 2-3 months old then you can breed again and again even if over 6 months
