i have a 1997 dodge ram and it it sometimes stalls at stop signs and sometimes stalls while driving on the street,not on the interstate and also wondering if the 1997 has the filter sock in the gas tank thanks

YES IT DOES. BUT IT MOST LIKELY IGNITION IF IT DIES SUDDENLY. GAS WILL MAKE IT SLOWLY POWER OFF.

does your speedomiter work right ? Mine did the same thing and there was a sensor in the rear end that was bad

Hey man, i have a '97 dodge as well and mine kept stalling out, it got so bad that i had to park my truck for a while. It turned out to be the ASD relay located in the PDC (under your hood next to your battery), replaced that for like $6 and it was fixed.

I have a 97 dodge ram 2 it would stall the same why yours would it was my o2 censer i would check that first it is not much to fix,and the filter is in the tank i had to replase my on my truck. LOOK IN TO THE O2 CENSER FIRST

It my be your grand battery to fire wall i have the same truck and i put a new ful pump in and it run like new
