I have been on epival (depakote) for  over 2 years and have recently began to get numbness in hands and feet is this a big thing that i should be concered about

I have been on epival for over 5 years and have a problem with lower back pain (chronic); is this a  side affect with any one else?I have never seen it listed.

Trying to stop taking depakote depakote 500MG, how do I do this?  Take half at first then stop?
