My 7 yo mixed breed has developed a hand-sized lump (cyst) over her left shoulder. It fills my whole hand and stands a good inch high at it's center. My vet is unhelpful. She drew fluids and had them screened and told me "It's not cancer." But that's all she said. Any ideas?

maybe you should try another vet that can help.

If the cyst continues to fill up with fluid it will continue to have to be drained. The only way that it will not is if it can some how be removed. If your vet doesn't do that perhaps you should consult another.
