Hi..yes there is a $1000 bill in-fact the largest note in circulation at one time was the $10,000 note.The largest note used by banks and not circulated was the $100,000.No note larger than $100 was printed after 1946 but were circulated until 1969 when these notes came back to banks they were sent to the Federal Reserve for retirement.
