Have your vet dock their tails at the fourth vertebra, ASAP.  I had a Wire-haired Fox Terrier whom I and my family loved to distraction, but we lost him several years ago.  Now I'm looking for another.  His tail had been docked a little too short, which detracted from his appearance, although it did nothing to interfere with his wonderful personality.

And be careful with any male pups around other male dogs.  They will want to be top dog, and may take on other dogs many times their own size.

Good luck with all your brood.
