Hi there, I was raised Christian, and I do not know why the jewish poeple do not believe Jesus was the Messiah and the son of God? Why was he not ? and who are they waiting for?

You just have to accept that this is the religion. You could say the same about Christianity. Why do you believe in Jesus? It's your faith. It's what you believe and everyone has to respect that.
