I have discovered some french francs and german deutch markes that I had put away in the past decade for holiday travel but misplaced their location.
Question: Can I still exchange these for Euros and where?

Have the same problem. Just discovered on www.euro.gov.uk that Banque de France will exchange Franc notes for ten years (presumably ten years after Euro was introduced). I'm now off to find my nearest branch.
