I have applied for my Canadian Immigration from USA under Federal skill worker and have received file number. It is almost 8 months since I received this file number. How long will it further take.

Also if I do not hear any thing in few months and have to move out of USA. What would be the best way. Shall my medical exam will be taken then in new country where I will go if I inform them or it will delay the process.
