Will someone please tell me some information on breeding the American Pit Bull Terrier!?  I have been going from site to site to learn about this specific breed and how to breed them, but they all say one thing: "Don't breed Pit Bulls!  They are in over supply on the market!"  What if we want to breed them?  I have a pure bred purple ribbon female who I would like to have a litter and I can't find any information on this specific breed! And you know what?  Most of the pit bulls that are being back yard bred are not pure breed.  But of course, every stray mixed breed that's out there is labeled a pit bull because no one can tell what it really is.  I just don't think that because of the irresponsible breeders out there, the rest of us have to just throw away our dog's pure bred registration papers and forget about training them as champions.
There, I vented.

I believe if you want to breed your pit bull and are going to keep the puppies or sell make sure they are given to the right people so that this problem we have with pit bull does not get larger then what it already is.

I'm 13 and me and my mom raise pit-bulls. We also own Stamford Rescue where we take in abandoned pups. We raise and sell pups for money to help the unwanted. Don't listen to anyone who says not to breed. But breed for good purposes only NOT to fight!!!! Make sure you know the owner that they are going to!!!!! Check out our site at www.stamfordminiaturerescue.com you can see some of my Pitts on there.
