When you run out of cards do you pick up seven in your pickup phase or one

In Magic, when your library has no cards in it, and you must draw a card from the library, you lose the game.

I think what he is asking is about the draw step. In magic the BeginPhase has 3 steps, the untap, upkeep, and draw steps. Every draw step you draw 1 card at the beginning. I think what your asking is if you have no cards in your hand do you draw 7 cards?? This must be some rule from some other crappy CCG... hehe

In magic you draw 1 card in your draw no matter how many cards you have in hand. There are of course exceptions to this, but they must come from outside effects, such as howling mine, or sylvan library.
