What are the different sizes of pool tables? What size table is Billiards played on, and what size table is pool played? Also does the size of the playing table, effect what games you can play?

16' 8" x 13' 3"     3.5' x 7'  (Bar Size)
17' 4" x 13' 8"     4' x 8'   (Home Size)
17' 9" x 13' 10"     4.25' x 8.5'   (Commercial Size)
18' 4" x 14' 2"     4.5' x 9'  (Tournament Size)
pool can be played on any size table.to me the bigger the more difficult the shots(since it longer)i like bar tables...small and quick.not much use for bridge.

Can I ask another question here? Just did. At a national department store chain I just saw a pool table that was 7'6" x 3'9".  Although the proportions are correct, I don't see this size table listed anywhere as a size for a pool table (have checked many "pool table" web sites).  Is this size as good as any other?  Also, I noted that the felt was tucked (folded like the bottom corner of a bed) on the side pockets.  I though that there should be no tuck there. Is that correct?

Hi pool tables are 12346' by 1".

Question, what are the physical dimensions of a standard pool table...
1. ball size
2. pocket size
3. bumper size
4. table height
5. lamp height
