I heard that Tonkinese cats were unlikely to cause allergy problems for people that are allergic to cats; is this true?

I Had a Tonkinese for 14 years and I thought maybe I was just used to her as I am quite allergic to other cats.... until I was in a small house with 20 of them and I didn't sneeze at all. Seems the allergy rating for them is qiute low. Just as well cause now I have 3.
