How do I change the default date in the Header of an Excel spreadsheet.  I would like the default to read 25-Jul-2003 instead of 25-07-03. Thanks.

You have to change the ENTIRE date format in Regional Settings in the Cntl Panel. In the individual cells....change anyway you want.

Crazy eh?

This is not true!  The date format on headers/footers do NOT take the format from the general Windows settings.  There appears to be no way to change the format at all!  There is a Microsoft knowledge "fix" but it simply hard-codes the current date in your desired format.  This then does not get updated in the future.  A macro for something that you might as well simply type in by hand and save the trouble!  Help would be appreciated...
