Quakers are a religious group.  They believe in: 1) true religion as a personal encounter with God, rather than ritual and ceremony 2)individual worth before God 3) worship as an act of seeking 4)the virtues of moral purity, integrity, honesty, simplicity and humility 5)Christian love and goodness 6)concern for the suffering and unfortunate, and 7)continuing revelation through the Holy Spirit.  check out http://www.religioustolerance.org/quaker.htm for more info.
