Huskies are known for being diggers. In the wild they would dog holes to sleep in. I heard that one person had the same problem with her husky and cured it by putting socks on it whenever it dug. It worked! Dogs dig when they are bored. Huskies need lots of exercise and so they will get bored easily. Give him at least one walk a day and something to chew on as chewing is also their strong suit. Get the strongest toy you can find. My dogs will EAT a regular tied chew bone in a matter of minutes so find the toughest one you can. He might calm down if he was neutered but I don't know 'cause mine never were. They have a mind of their own and need a firm patient hand if they are to learn to do anything. You could get something really sour and put it on the boards if he starts to chew them too. The best of luck to you!!

I AGREE. ALSO, REMEMBER OR BE INFORMED THAT SIBES NEED LOTS OF ACTIVITY AND ATTENTION. THEY ARE NOT LIKE MOST DOGS. YOU CAN RELATE THEM TO HAVING A TODDLER. THEY THRIVE ON HUMAN COMPANIONSHIP. THEY GET BORED LIKE HUMANS, THEY GET LONELY LIKE HUMANS AND THEY GET BUISY LIKE HUMANS DO WHEN THEY ARE NOT GETTING ANY OF THE ABOVE. IF YOU TRY TO KEEP IT BUISY AND ACTIVE DOING OTHER THINGS, IT WILL HELP. THE DOG WILL DIG WHEN OUTSIDE, BUT JUST KEEP IT BUISY WHEN ITS IN THE HOUSE. THATS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT IS STRESSED TO FIRST TIME OWNERS OF THESE DOGS. THEY REQUIRE MUCH OF YOUR TIME RAISING THEM. BUT STICK WITH IT AND IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT.
