How old is "to old" to breed my healthy yellow lab?  She just turned 8.

she is too old you shouldnt breed a dog over 6

If you have to ask a question like this, you shouldn't be breeding dogs.

i think if your dog is fit and healthy there should nt be a problem i want to breed my border collie  who is 8  she is fit and healthy and as energetic as she was when she was a baby

yeah we bred our healthy yellow lab female when she was 7 and she only had three pups that we saw.  one was still born, one died later and the other is a great dog
