well, first you have to be very confident with one diabolo. You need to be able to spin it fast and straight, and to be able to orbit it around your leg in a controled circle, as well as being able to wrap and unwrap the string around the diabolo.
so get one diabolo going as fast and straight as you can (with the other one somewhere easy to get to; I have it between my legs) put your right stick in your left hand with the other stick to form a V shape,so that your right hand has quick access to the right stick again.
next, with your right hand, give a wrap to the other diabolo near the right stick, give the diabolo a bit of spin with your hand (try out different techniques to get the diabolo going fast and straight) then grab the right stick back from your left hand.
Keeping the tension in the sting (otherwise the right diabolo will fall onto the left one) give a series of flicks with your right hand to get more spin then unwrap the wrapped diabolo whilst at the same time flipping the left diabolo over the top. Now both diabolos are circling each other.
The reason I use that method of start is because it is the easiest and most reliable. If you want to learn a quicker start you can try chucking the 2nd diabolo up in the air with your right hand, then passing over the right handstick, catching the falling diabolo on the right side and going from there.
You want to keep both sticks as close to each other as possible and the right stick should do all the work. Basically, there is no way to explain this movement except to say the right hand does a kind of oval for each of the diabolos landing on the right side. For the first few orbits you may need to jump the left diabolo with your left hand in order to get some speed and power up but after that your left hand doesn't do very much. After a long, long while, once you have tried doing that very, very many times, you will have noticed that when you try to correct one diabolo that is either tilting or at the wrong angle, the the other one either goes haywire or doesn't hit the string. 2 diabolo correction must be learnt at this stage, so whenever a diabolo is tilting or at a different angle to the other one, it can be corrected.
The basics are thus: touching the top of a cup with the stick will make it turn that way and touching the sides will make it lean that way. You will need to practice this with one diabolo first, because once you get into doing it with two if you don't know exactly what you're doing it can all get a bit hectic.
That's just about all I know about starting to juggle with two diabolos...
