(just moved) both my stove and my dryer wont produce heat! ...

(just moved) both my stove and my dryer wont produce heat!
the guy I bought them from, say's it's the wiring in the house but i did it myself.

I have a 2 pole 120/240 breaker for each and the outlets are just fool proof to wire am I doing anything wrong?

best bet is to get your hands on a good meter and check to see if you have the required voltage where you need it. this has always worked for me.
