I have an L-1 visa and my adjustment of status application...

I have an L-1 visa and my adjustment of status application is pending.

I my job is terminated involuntarily can I still apply for and EAD after that?

I also have a valid B-1 visa, which I think would be enough to maintain my non-immigrant status valid while I wait for the EAD approval (or the interim card).

Is that correct?
