I have a dollar bill that is from the series 1935, is it worth anything?  Will it ever be?

I was using a 1950 ten dollar bill and the lady at Honey Dew Donuts said it was a fake because the marker that she marked it with did not disapear.....is the 1950 ten dollar bill affected by the marker....or was it really a fake?

hi stephanie,i have a 1950 series D TEN dollar bill in fairly decent condition(except for some mild discoloration-due to age i assume).and i was ALSO wondering what it was worth?and i have looked and looked to no avail.and if you wouln't mind, i would be ever so appreciative if you Do happen to find out their book value or what-have you,if you could get back with me i will in turn, do the same if i find out their value.my email address is: babyem6@yahoo.com
and it would be nice to hear some good news or at least know that hanging on to it would be worth my while,right?
