My husband is waiting for a k-3 visa...the i129f and i130 have been received.  My mother recently passed away, and my husband has been given a b2 visa to come see me during my time of mourning.  The border patrol told us (while being interrogated at the border)that we can adjust status once he is in the country.  Since we know this now, we are interested in adjusting status.  Is it better to wait for the k3 to get approved then adjust status, or to try and adjust status from the b2 immediately?  Will trying to adjust status immediately ruin our shot at getting the k3?
Thanks!
