I had a miscarriage about six months ago and the nurses I saw said about two weeks but when I returned at that time I still had a HCG level.  So, I returned two weeks after that and it was negative, HCG level of 0.  So, I guess the safe answer would be between two and four weeks.
If you are trying good luck, I am three and a half months (out of the "zone" for miscarriages)

I had a miscarriage on August the 8th and it is September the 15th I am still getting positive results on my pregnacy test. So the answer to your question is depending on the miscarriage and how far along you was when it took place depends on how long you will get a positve result. I myself was 8 weeks along, and it still shows a faint positive line in the window so it really just depends on your body I guess........

I was 12 weeks pregnant when I went in for my regular check up they did a sonogram and there was no heart beat so a week later I had to go in for a DNC I was 13 weeks, no it has been 12 days and I still show I am pregnant with the home pregnancy test is this normal?  When can I expect to not get a positive result?
