At the Paris Peace Conference in 1945 the war ended.  With that NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, which was the liberal open-market center to right coalition of nations synthesized to combat the spread of commumism.  The Warsaw Pact was developed in 1949 by the communist nations, mainly the USSR and a handful of Balkan states...Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania...to name a few.  The UN [united nations] was created in 1946 I believe and it's main goal was to promote peace in the world.  To this date there are up to 191 member nations.

I'm not sure on whether there were new treaties put in place after world war 2, but I believe that there is a very strong possibility as no one would want a world war to happen a third time.
In order to answer this question I think that a history book found in the library would be a good way to go.
or perhaps even find out from an elderly person who lived through it and saw the world progress as wartime drew further away.

Hitler was a person a mad man!he killed many jews he though the jews was the problem for WWI but what he didnt know was he was raised the wrong way! he fough WWI and won many medlas then was arrested for breaking rules along with 2 pother people he was sopose to stay for 2 years but only for 9 months but was let out early for good behavior so this could of all bin fixed if hitler was never let out early but it didnt matter! Hitler was a clever man and a very good speech writer he would frist say he was coming at 5:00pm but then really came at 10:00pm he would confuse the people who wanted to murder him, but he also used a tatic when he went to speak he would be quiet for about 2 mins then start slowy start speaking then gain in force. he used this to get people angry cause they think there wasting time but hitler would change the anger on the jews but switching the subjects.

You can look up the treaties in www.un.org but the short cut is to go to www.google.com search and look up core treaties. And then you will see it eventually...

There's allot of them in there.
